Congrats on a pair of beauties. What did the wife get?
Congrats! That Gretsch looks really ready to rock.
Definitely treat the wife to something special. Be it a dinner, extra pampering, or something material.
A sweater and shopping trip
Maybe only a Nashville would be more fitting
Well, that's fair.
Nah, that’s the “Fine. I”ll be in a picture you can post on your silly guitar forum” face.
When I read the thread title, at first I thought you meant your wife made you a guitar.. Then I realized you meant she made you buy one.
Sounds like my wife when we went to a music store to get a keyboard...what's hanging straight over the counter as we walk in? A '63 Gibson (forgive me Gretsch, for I have sinned) Firebird III all decided out like a V. I'm not against the "customised" piece. It played and sounded great. It had traps instead of dots and the long Vibrola plate...got both at my wife's urging pretty much as yours did.
Ya gotta good one...on both counts!
Wow! Awesome wife AND guitar!
Congrats on the new Tennessee Rose!
When I lived in Tennessee, Corner Music & Forks Drum Closet were both good hangouts, and being right next to each other made it super convenient!
I got my Tennessee Rose at a local shop while living in Clarksville, TN. It's the finest Gretsch that I have.
Oh, and Aaron, your wife is definitely a keeper.
Moral of the story: whining works. The squeaky spouse gets the guitar.
Lol, if my wife is any indication, that is a look of "I already made / let you buy the guitar and now you're gonna take a picture of me with it and post it publicly and I have not had the chance to prepare for the picture. . . "
Beautiful guitar, fabulous choice.
Hobbies...anything from a bug collection, to a garage full of Ferrari's is soooo much better when you have the support of your ''always lovely'' wife.
Believe me, I know from where I speak...and the good things just keep on coming.
Ah yes -- the classic "wife eye-roll!"
I've actually seen that a time or two...
But you clearly have two keepers there. Congrats!
Congrats on the Tenny and I'm loling at the eye roll
