Oh man, how could I pass this up?

2010 CVC '60's Telecaster. So far, she sounds great through the Champ and luscious through the TR.

There is something really special about a Tele with a bound body. Classy, looks great!

I'm not normally a burst fan but there is just something about the 60's teles with the binding that are just so nice.
    Congrats and enjoy.

    Gorgeous. Great pictures too.

I picked up a Vintera 50's Tele last summer. 35 years of playing and I'd never touched a Tele. They're incredibly versatile. I don't know what took me so long.

I think they look great with binding, it just adds something "classy" to the look.

Every household needs a Telecaster. At least one, because ... that certain sound that only a Telecaster can deliver ...

I finally did a thorough setup and wow, she plays like butter. Even before the fresh setup I was very satisfied, but now with lower action and a pickup height adjustment, she sings.

I really like these vintage voiced pickups. My Mexican Tele with ceramic magnets sounds hard and doesn't have the character that these alnico v pickups have.

I also love the neck, a pencil thin neck that I can strangle with one hand.

There are a couple of issues, one is a static crackle when sliding on the pickguard. I glue-sticked half a dryer sheet to the underside, and a layer of aluminum foil, too. It was still crackling until I wiped the front side with a dryer sheet. Now I'm several hours of playing in with no crackle.

The other issue is that the last fret is a smidge high so that the two frets below it don't fret cleanly on the high E string. It will need some attention, but I almost never find myself that far up the fretboard.

Overall, I'm totally psyched with my new favorite guitar. I also now know how yummy vintage voiced pickups are!
