Can you up the heater?
I strongly believe that 98% of all German homes are without AC. So is mine.(Right now I am sweating like being in a sauna.)
Well its been sitting in its box for 16 hours in my room which is pretty much the same temperature as a fedex truck so here goes.
Well, its here. 2004 G6136T in superb condition.
ive been after an ‘04 for some while and have temporarily given up on finding a silver one. It has all the bits i love:
Vertical headstock, feather inlays, filters, 2.75” body, bigsby, light bracing for “edge of chaos” resonance.
Goldware nicely tarnishing but not a scratch or a ding or an abrasion anywhere. I bought it from the original owner who bought it in 2005 from Sweetwater (receipt included). (First photo is from the store where he had it on consignment and does not necessarily reflect the price I paid)
Thats what I’m talkin’ about! Such a beautiful patina on the hardware
What a stunner! Congratulations
Oh HELL yeah!!!
Welcome to Club Falcon!!
I have the same model from the same year!
Personally, I think it’s the best guitar ever made! It’s MAGICAL!
I swapped bridge for a dBridge and the bigsby for a V Cut, but the HS Filtertrons need no replacement.
Wow!!! Congrats & enjoy! A real beauty!
I knew you’d approve Sir!
I have a v-cut going onto my christmas wishlist.
Im a fan of those older filtertrons and i specifically wanted them. So excited.
The HS Filtertrons in that particular guitar sound magical, literally. The bridge pickup is a rock n’ roll beast and can get real snarly and nasty when needed. The middle position sounds like heavens bells and I use it often for rhythm, and the neck pickup is deep and smoooth smoooooth. I don’t know what it is, but they’re just perfect.
I love TV Jones pickups, and I have them in other guitars, but NOT in my Falcon.
Last time I was in the studio, the engineer called it a “Forever guitar”.
So I named mine Forever.
I wish you a long life together.
I haven’t been this stoked for someone else’s NGD in a long time! Haha
This is a 2004? Wow, I thought I was looking at the most subtle Custom shop job I’ve ever seen! Stellar!
I know! That headstock!!!!!!
Out freakin' standing! Congrats, well done.
That was worth the wait! What a beauty! Now I understand your commitment to let the guitar reach temperature equilibrium before opening it.
The mighty six-stringed electrified Cadillac! The grand daddy of them all!! A guitar entirely too large for me to play!! That is KILLIN!!!!
Oh my!! Not doin that,,,,
That's a beautiful big Falcon guitar. Congrats!
Congratulations and enjoy! It looks perfect to me.
