NGD landed a Nick13 jet for $400 and the top is solid maple

As I suspected, this jet is well routed mahogany w an appreciable center. Interesting though, the maple top/cap is solid maple. not plywood. I ground back some of the paint to reveal the delight. So its getting TVjones P90s/T90s and some tuners along w a B-3 real bigsby. pics to follow.

before shots.. so far I have the thicker metric pot metal posts out and replaced w stainless steel SAE thread posts for the tonepros AVR-1 or maybe one of my truarcs, and the B3 which is nickel plated, rubbed off the gold electroplate.

Nick13 is the lead singer guitarist of the OG Psychobilly band Tiger army. Killer band! He's also struck out on his own, pursuing vintage Country & Western with an amazing album to highlight those great pipes. Very humble and kind brother to boot that uses my atomic brain and fuzzray pedals.

It has a jack plate, I've removed that and currently sealing in the orifice with bondo.
