Along with others....I think that Cadillac Green is just so beautiful! Not a bad guitar, either...
Lose the cheese grater ,Tru Arc for the win!
But i have to say,i've never been a fan of the arm rest.
That Green always looks so deep and rich. I just love it.
Enjoy that lovely Gretsch beauty.
Paging Mike Campbel, Oh My My............... Stunning example of the craftmanship, play in good health.
Here are some better shots of the guitar - shot without flash or intense light reflections...
Ohhhhhh yeahhhh )))) look at that beautiful Melita bridge
Congrats, that (IMO) is the most beautiful Gretsch guitar ever offered!
I had one till the burglar bastages stole it along with the DSV.
I agree with ditching the Melita for a bar bridge... I had a brass Compton on mine and it was fantastic!
Just gorgeous, congrats!
That is one beautiful, beautiful guitar. I am sure it will sound as good as it looks!
That's the one that turned me onto Gretsch - enjoy!
Beautiful and Congrads
Congrats. That guitar is always stunning in CG.
I am not a gold hardware guy but damn, that is pretty magnificent
Great choice, you will find that they are beautiful in every way. Every time I take mine out of the case it is like seeing for the first time. It is always difficult getting out of my son's hands, but he IS the better musician, so it is fine with me.
I am so sorry to hear of your experience. We have had this happen to us more than I care to elaborate. What has helped is leaving the Gretsch hard case home, and using some beat up generic case with duct tape on it. My sister is a seamstress, and helped with foam and the lining to protect it.
It is a shame when you want to use an instrument with a beautiful voice, but have to leave it home so no one walks away with it. Again, I am sorry, I know the pain too well.
Love mine. It doesn't have the arm rest but that's fine with me. It's like a cheaper Penguin with its gold hardware, apart from the normal headstock. You might want to persist with the Melita. Tricky but do-able.
Congratulations on your wonderful guitar, such a beauty.
And Dynasonics definitely are the most beautiful pickups on Earth.
Wow man, it’s a stunner! Such an upgrade compared to what you gave away.
Congrats and happy playing time!
Great looking guitar. I love humpblocks on a Jet. I don't normally go for gold, but it really works on yours! Enjoy!
I need one of those armrests, but in chrome
