Awesome score, Craig!
I can easily see why some of you other guitars will get less love.
Well, I can see why! She's drop dead georgeous! Absolutely love it. Congratulations and enjoy the "Lady in Red"...well in orange actually but the quote sounds appropriate.
Try Setzer’s strings of choice…
You did good. Everyone needs a Setzer in the herd. Congrads.
Her name is Lorraine, aka “Bad Habit”.
Setzer’s new song is quite aprapos.
I don’t drink, don’t smoke…what do I do?
One bad habit…Gretsch guitars.
*Work in progress*
Clean and oil fretboard.
Polish hardware and frets.
Hey man, I used to live just above you...Carlsbad!
Funny thing, you pulled the dice off and I'm thinking of putting some on my White Falcon.
I miss the west coast sometimes but really satisfied with the new move... Knoxville Tennessee.
Enjoy your new guitar and thanks for the great pictures.
BTW, how do you like the Setzer signature pickups?
I must be out of the loop for a while....I have a '13 model and it only had one volume knob....when did they start putting 3 knobs on there?
Peter, your’s is a Hotrod edition. Very cool!
I just finished up, after about five careful hours. My first time doing all this, but went slow and was methodical about cleaning and polishing…similar to how I detail cars.
I got this guitar in Carlsbad.
The pickups sound decent, but they might need some pole-height adjusting. Strange thing…The 10 gauge strings on this guitar feel thinner than the 10’s on my g6659. I’ll need to do a side-by-side comparison.
I played Lorraine for a couple hours tonight. The 2.75” hollow body thickness feels pretty comfortable, and no issue tilting it a tad inward so I can see what I’m doing.
Enjoy the beauty!
I was just looking on Sweetwater and they have the 6120t in candy magenta, a candy blue burst and a lime gold. They also showed a yellow but it's not in stock. The magenta was bright I liked the blue not fond of the green and not sure about the yellow
