I have an old Westerly D-55 that I love. Also have a RI all mahogany 12.

love guild stuff but not interested in any of the oversees ones.

    Wow! Very nice, Tony.
As you know from our Canadian Round Ups, I'm a big Guild fan.

Never connected with their electrics, but my Guild 12 string jumbo is a delight. I also play an M-240 - terrific little guitar.

My good friend owned a guild Bluesbird until recently which was the same body shape as this with an incredible flamed top that very few guitars I have seen have equalled. It was as good as, if not better, than any Les Paul I have ever played and I have played loads of them. Just a stunning guitar all round. Had I had the cash when it was up for sale I would have bought it. The flame top in the picture I've posted doesn't even come close to my friends. I also like the other guild models, the single cut starfire like the second picture, I've played them, I think they are Korean made, and they are great. Their acoustic guitars are top notch.

    9Nice guitar!

I've said this before. Mounting the pickup on the strings behind the bridge SERIOUSLY effects tone.

Using a rod attached to the side of the neck like this is the best solution:
