Well, is it there yet?
Congrats in the new guitar!
And nice Falcons!
I have a 2004 White Falcon and it’s my number 1 guitar.
Congrats, and welcome to the friendliest place on the internet! Glad to have you with us.
Congratulations on that beauty and enjoy!

I think your guitar is haunted!

A B-17G and a B-17F.
jus arrived at my house! now I just need to duck out of work early!!! more pics coming soon!
What a beauty, and what a first Jet! I also love all of your war birds. Are you an Airforce vet, or just a vintage military plane geek?
So my stern arrived via FedEx last night about 8:30 PM! Those guys are sure burning the midnight oil! Anyway, here’s a couple of pictures! It’s a great guitar! But.... I’m not Entirely sure it’s as GREAT as I was expecting? Am I crazy?? There’s a certain “magic” I was anticipating that I’m not sure is there... anyway, I’ll spend some time with it and see how things develops. I guess I’m just one of those people that tends to bond pretty much immediately with a guitar and if I don’t... well.... they go to a good home! Haha.
There is a ''wolf'' hiding in those book matched knots.
Well, be sure to give it some time. These pickups can be hard to tame sometimes, and you've got to find the right settings on your rig because they are full of everything and a bit unforgiving. But they can be magical once you've found your marks.
Wow! Well im sure you are surprised that you arent immeadiately stunned. Presumably its not a dissapointment visually, coz that thing looks AWESOME.
Are the SD dynasonics less growly than you expected? More like regular dynas than you’d hoped?
Stupid question perhaps, but did it get the string gauge that you prefer? Im assuming thats not it.
But thats the thing about guitars isnt it? You can put all the right bits together and get a perfectly good guitar, but then every once in a while you pick up a guitar in a store and it somehow sounds like magic. I guess one ought to be able to expect that from a masterbuilder, but that secret mojo sauce lives somewhere deep inside the wood and cant be special ordered?
I hope you quickly fall in love with it though. A 16th of an inch of pickup height can make a million miles of difference!
OK, so we are getting acquainted and after a little tone tweaking, this beauty is coming alive! These pickups are tone monsters! I’ll make a demo here soon and share with you all... yeah... I’m not plugged in. But I was! Haha
