Last week I picked up one of my all time favorite Gretsch's - A new Sparkle Jet. The players series has all the mods I would put into a Gretsch. I am a sucker for red Sparkle - so I had to have one! I do not have a issue with the double bar Bigsby ( I know some do) but the Bigsby on this Jet is one of the softest I have ever felt.
The Modern Jets of today are just impeccable! I know they are not cheap but I think worth every penny! tempImageM4g2jQ.png

Thanks - It Weighs around 8Lbs. - One big reason I got it. I had a silver Jet a while back that was almost 9Lbs. My love for the Jets was always the fact they where not LP Heavy - But a few I have played recently where approaching 9Lbs or heavier.

Very nice! I was about to get one of these but wound up going with the new 89 Vintage Select sparkle jet instead.

    Stunning guitar, congratulations!

What type of strap buttons? Sort of looks like the type set up for strap locks. If it is, I'd suggest you use the locks, they are pretty small to hold a strap securely.
