I'm not a fan of the lyrics but think the song musically is great :)
Excellent bass line, groove, swing, tasty guitar work and well recorded.
It's a good melody so would work well for another lyrical subject imo :D

Appreciate you listening @Waxhead. You sound like me evaluating every lyric I've ever written.

My comment on the lyrics is meant to be constructive - not being critical ok.
I just think the song musically deserves better.

Lyrics about southern US food might be fine if you live there.
But for everyone who doesn't it's of no interest.
You could write lyrics on 1000s of other subjects that would really add to the song :)

@Waxhead I didn't take it personally, my friend. I second guess ALL of my lyrics. These came to me very quickly, which is unusual, so I ran with it. When I finished I really did say to myself "Where the hell did that come from?"

I'm not from the south and I probably wouldn't seek out a song about food, either. Come to think of it, The Beatles white album is one of my two favorite albums and I hate the song Savoy Truffle. That said, I like it. It's different from all my other stuff. On to the next one.

I'll post other songs on here from time to time. Please check them out and I sincerely thank you for listening to my song.
