I decided to throw together a Nocturne (for the most part) pedalboard. Wasn't sure if it would work, but I decided to take a chance and bought a Boss BCB- IMG_20210108_163309247.jpg 60 board. I am proud to announce it works extremely well! First show with the new setup is tomorrow night.

Great board, Scott! I like the matching blue shades on the MB & El Pesky!

Nice! I agree with @audept on the matching blue. It doesn’t look like you’ve cut the foam to fit. Does it all stay tight when closed?

Btw, wishing you a great show tomorrow too.

I just got lucky on the colors. ;) I have an earlier version 1 MB. Got the second one because I liked the color and it had a nice holiday discount added.

As far as the foam is concerned I had to do a little cutting on the bottom foam pieces to fit the un-Boss-like pedals, but the foam is rather thick so it holds the pedals in place quite well. Everything seems tight and in place when closing the board. I guess I'll find out for sure before this evening's soundcheck! :D

Update: Everything worked just as it should, pedals and board. Had to pull down the preamp volume on the EP so it wasn't blowing everybody off the stage. Board closed up just fine afterwards as well.

Is your pedal chain exactly as laid out?
Ubangi>Nailhead>EL Pesc>MB ? Nothing in the MB loop?

Those are good little pedalboards for those of us that don't need a ton of pedals. I use one myself. The other guitar player in one of my bands is a total gearhead and shows up with a pedalboard that weighs sixty lbs. I'm ok with the little one myself.

I really hope you like it!

Exactly. Nothing in the loop, just running from one pedal to the next. Works for me.

Yeah, I'm not a big pedal geek. This is the biggest board I want to deal with. Actually, I have a BCB-3 with 3 Boss pedals in it. That's as big as I want to use theoretically but I was wanting to get the Brain preamp boost onstage. So far it's working very well!

WOW. That`s a posh looking little board, Scott. Well done.
