So what is considered low capacitance in a cable?

I have two 20' oxygen free copper Roland instrument cables. I remember I needed a couple longer cables and these where all the store had at the time. They were expensive so I only bought one but once I tried it I went back and bought another. I almost never use my other cables anymore. At least not the 20' ones. The shorter ones seem to work ok. I assume it is length related.

capacitance loading per foot is what I look at, not whether or not its built by strontonium obfiscatus unubtanium. :)

Now I need to measure my homemade cable to see what they are.

Doggone it, now I want to try some strontonium obfiscatus unubtanium, but I definitely do not want to try the scrotonium variant, to fuzzy.

Keeley compressors are hard to beat imo. And for power supplies, the One Spot Pro series are wonderful. I’ve bought different variants many times and have always been more than satisfied.

I sure do! I own two of them to be exact, and have always been impressed with 1)ease of use 2)great sounds!

So why am I building a pedalboard? I am far too easily bored, and am always ready for the next thing. It’s my burden to bear. ;)

Sorry been stuck in hotels all week, no guitar or mando to play, home tomorrow though! Winter is hard and I don’t leave fear I a. Hotel and can’t leave it in a car when it’s well below freezing. I also get easily bored.

I have just started messing around with GarageBand, and like some of the amp models and presets, the clean VOX types are my favorites. I have been thinking about getting the iRig Stomp I/O kind of combined audio interface and MIDI foot controller. It should work with GarageBand as well as their own Amplitube software and others like BIAS FX, etc. I could use it with my iPhone or an iPad.

But, I like the idea of a dedicated stand-alone Headrush board with the integrated expression pedal also. I don't really rely on a lot of pedals though, I play a 12-string, that already has a chorus effect built in!

Headrush is cool, as is GarageBand. Logic Pro is GarageBand on heavy duty steroids and offers more.

    That’s such a great pairing.

Where do you like your Fluid Drive? I like mine in the effects loop.

I don’t use an effects loop, and put mine immediately following the Mystery Brain.

The Loop on the MB opens up some cool options.

Awesome!! My Fluid Drive arrived this past Friday!! Very transparent. Interesting running it after the brain. I ran the OD’s right before the MBrain but maybe the Fluid Drive acts differently after it vs a Tube Screamer type of OD.

I know Tavo has mentioned certain OD’s play nicer being placed b4 the MBrain.

Congrats! I believe Tavo said he designed it to play after the Brain but it’s all preference.

That’s where I place mine. Although Tavo said the effects loop is likely going bye bye at some point due to confusion on how to use it.

Getting rid of the effects loop would be a tragedy!
