So, the GAS hit a while ago for these. But was supressed by a 335, Jazzmaster and 2 Tele's.

But it's back. Does anyone have one? What are they like ? How about those Pickups? How close are they to a 335?

The finish's are wild. Both the sonic blue and Bourbon stain... somebody help me ;)

I hadn’t noticed that two tone color this year. It likely looks stellar in person.

I looked up the blue one and it’s a limited color. Best to get it while you’ve got the GAS!

Ahhh.. just found this video. Peach guitars website claims theirs only six, in Sonic Blue, world-wide.

Which can't be true can it? I'm driving past their store next week...

I’d drive by sooner than that while you have GAS in the car. I don’t know how the PU compare to a 335 but I do know that I love my Broadkaster. Good luck!

That's the thing. I just can't really have both. Seems excessive even for me. I'm not expecting it to sound exactly like a 335. My Les Paul can cover the humbucker thing. But this is pretty.. and pretty is good.

£300 less is the bourbon stain. So that's the next thing... do I want to stretch £300 for a colour alone.

    Nasty case of GAS this...;)

It sounds like it’s meant to be. The Bourbon looks nice to. But I’m also a sucker for a two tone Gretsch. And that blue works really well together.

If you do drop by but resist the GAS, post some additional pictures.

Both of them look great, I think Gretsch are different enough to Gibson to make it worthwhile having one. Either one looks fabulous, go with which ever got your attention first.

Personally I like the Bourbon Stain over the two color Blue scheme. I would get tired of the blue. Best of luck on your choices.

When these are all gone you're going to regret not buying that 2 tone blue!;)

That's the one. It's the Sonic blue for sure.

Theirs 2 for sale in the UK. I've decided if I do it something has to go. I'm not comfortable with owning "another" guitar. But losing one and replacing it works. Especially given I think the price is considerably inflated due to the Ltd Edition factor.

So I decided to make a play for one. Contacted the first store of the 2 that have them, but their customer service was frankly abysmal. For this kind of money I think I deserve to be treated like a real person, not just a transaction.

Wish me luck with store 2, otherwise this is going to be enfulfilled GAS.

Well, it aint a 335..once you get over that its a great sounding, great playing and beautifully built guitar.

Nobody in their right mind buys the bourbon stain... here's mine..

    Oh that is niiiice.

I get that it's probably closer to my Chambered PowerJet than my 335. The 335 has a sustain that other guitars just can't match. But weirdly im just not playing the 335 often. My Gretsch and Fenders see much more action. The 335 is probably 5th in my rotation... which seems a waste.

I think I'm more off a riff man and the Broadkaster could fit better.
