Most exciting recent progress on my end is I finished getting my templates for the pickup risers, guard, & truss rod cover ready to print & it sounded like my friend was going to thickness the Indian ebony pieces for the risers for me tonight (going w/ 3/16" for the neck & 1/4" for the bridge).

Here's the truss rod cover w/ both pieces of what I'm planning to cut shown, the darker lower layer being bakelite & the overlay a fairly thick clear acrylic to carry the Eman logo:

Other than that I've being digging up all the additional bits I'll need to ship to David still & waiting for the last bit I need to be delivered, a set of nickel oval button Kluson Prestige tuners.

Couple of updates on this one from the last week...

Got some pics from David on the build process:

Hardware/pickups made it to him yesterday.

I got my paper templates for the guard, TRC, & pickup risers printed & trimmed & cut & drilled the pieces for the truss rod cover today:

Finally cut, sanded, & drilled the guard today & should be sending it & the truss rod cover off to David on Monday:
