Congrats on the great new guitar. I've got a number of top quality guitars (including a PRS SC-J and a couple more Gretsches) and my Annie is my favorite. They are really a well constructed, great playing guitar. Now, I'm not saying that the SC-J isn't a truly wonderful guitar, but my Annie is always out, played daily and is at every gig. I play country, contemporary, lots of oldies and some jazz - my Annie loves it all. I'm sure that you will enjoy yours more and more. They are truly a unique and wonderful Gretsch guitar.

I've got one just like it. Picked up a Bigs to throw on it and every time I go to put it on, I can't drill the hole.

I bought the Bigsby B6C to put on mine. Do I have to drill into the top of the Annie or does it just rest on top?

The specs show this one is stock on the G6118T.

One suggestion - rip that space controller bridge off there (they're a pain in the palm), and slap a nice shiny compton on there

You don't need to drill anything, it rest on the top.
