My mini Gretsch collection.

Hey all,

I was talking to sneakypete about these little gretsch models the other day so i thought I'd dig them out and take a picture (not the best, just did it quickly at work) for those who might like them.





I have the full set of the second series and 2 of the first and i might see if i can find the rest as they are pretty cool little things.

I know a few of these have been posted up here before.

I think they were a Japanese market thing, a freind bought me one while they were over in Japan so searched here on Aus and found someone who had the set.

Yeah I have resisted the urge to open them and display them next to the real models I have, would look cool but didn't want to take them out.
They don't do a historic model, which is a shame.

I saw them in Florence, Italy maybe ten years ago. I pointed them out to my wife who asked, “Why? You have a real one at home.”

The funny thing about that was that there was no way to keep her out of the leather shops.

Here's my little guy! It was hand made back in the early 90s,i was supposed to get a 55 Falcon too.

I have a couple of guitar lighters too,funny as i don't smoke,a white Les Paul and a brown BC Rich Mockingbird that were gifted to me.

lol yeah I was going to say could you imagine stringing a bigsby that small.

Yours is so much cooler, the detail of the wood grain is awesome.
Hmm maybe I won't look for the others then, I got the whole set back in 2011 and paid about $250 AUD ($166 USD) for them, I have seen some up for $250 AUD each but thought those guys were a bit over priced and a bit unrealistic....
