My favorite is This Must be the Place (Naive Melody). Burning down the house comes in close second, close to Sugar on my Tongue.

There are a lot of good covers like the one from Kishi Bashi

I didn't know until now that Johnny Marr played the lead on the song. Pretty obvious now.

    "heaven" always makes be blue.

I reminds me of a bunch of hard partying friends that I've lost over the years.

always an awkward fellow David Byrne
In his bestselling 2012 book, “How Music Works”, Byrne said he had border-line Asperger's syndrome, an autistic disorder often characterised by above-average intelligence and social awkwardness.

I haven't seen that video since the 80's, I didn't realize Johnny Marr was right there the whole time!

I love a lot of their music, but the song that most touched me when I saw Stop Making Sense, and the song that I still play, is Heaven.

Take Me To The River, hands down best ever. I thought after MTV started to make everyone famous, if even as 1 hit wonders, music videos and how weird or entertaining they could be was the focus. Some of the videos were even horrible & the band/song probably was penalized by that. Take Me To The River is about the only song of the Talking Heads I'll even listen to anymore.

1978-UCLA -anybody here at this show? My buddy Frank Gallagher was FOH for the band for many years. I would help him out at times with staging when we crossed paths. I was tour managing the Dirty Angels who opened this show. So I worked double duty in helping Frank soundcheck the instruments this day. Tina's lil Red Mustang was fun. Chris and Tina super nice folks. Never really talked to David at all.

Chris Frantz is the key to this song. Love the drum work. Tina's bass is damn solid. Gotta love Chris' polo shirt too. None of this fancy dress up like the other two.
