Weird. My dog makes the same face, but it usually means I'm out of tune.
My Rescue, Addie, she is no longer with us.
Here we are at the dog beach that we would walk to from our house 3 or 4 times a week.
6 months down the track. Haircut for one, Bigsby for the other.
New boy I adopted a couple of weeks ago from the local shelter. I named him Cooper:
Picture #4 actually made me laugh out loud. Great picture

Came home to this today.
I love all these pics!
Me too! The world needs more dog pics!
My wife has fallen into a side business of dog sitting and dog walking. She's watching an 18 month old Australian Shepherd named Ferrari this week, while his owners are in Florida. His name is appropriate - very high energy. Very smart too.
Otto can't be bothered though. He pushed everything off the bed except the pillow he's laying his head on.
This is Addie a day or two after we drove 150 miles round trip to get her. She was a stray rescue through the German Shepherd Rescue program that was placed and rejected when the new owners discovered she was not a purebred...We happily took her instead
Her with her first cute cuddly toy, she did not know what to do with it.
The following photos are not for the faint of heart, truly grizzly
She eviscerated the poor thing..
I’m sure @thunder58 will have to delete the phots due to their graphic nature
Addie is just gorgeous. In fact, I just love the pics of all the dogs in this thread. There isn't a one I couldn't just love!
He looks like the Am Staff in my icon who is unfortunately no longer with us. I'm sure Cooper will turn out to be as good a dog for you as I.V. was for me.
All these pictures of sleeping dogs reminds me.......when it comes to my dogs, this is the way it goes at my house. How about yours?
Every owner of a Jack Russell that I personally know, has admitted to me that their dog sleeps under the covers with them. There's nothing wrong with that
That's how it is at my house too.
I've met Borzois twice in my life. The first time was at a dog show years ago, and its owner had to go to the bathroom or something and asked me and my girlfriend to watch it for a few minutes. It was so sweet and just leaned on me and stared at me the whole time. Then just the other day, there was one at the dog park. It was a total goofball, hopping around and playfully attacked my daughter. I'll wait until the "time is right" (a sad thought), but someday I will be bringing home a Borzoi puppy.
My wife asked me to tackle my son to A river so he can trout fish. She said she would go for the ride. Coincidentally it was next to a winery. They had this huge dog. It looks big in the photos, but in real life it was twice as big. One of those dogs that could carry me away. Friendly, in that , if you fed it, and the only food available was the 1,000,000 cheese and cracker plate the winery sold, it was safe. So in order to keep us alive, i purchased the plate(i dont like cheese, or even drink wine ) . This is the dog convincing my wife to give it cheese.
