He is so so amazing. Her version of Standing on the Moon (one of the most important songs to me) breaks my heart.

Have a couple of her albums, especially enjoy her faster originals.

I prefer this version to the album version.

I always get a chuckle out of the Best New Artist category. The Academy's criteria for that seems to be "Well, it's the first time we've heard of them". LoL!

Molly's been around since 2017 iirc, and Crooked Tree's a pretty fine album. I guess it qualifies as a "breakthrough" type album.

Despite that, I have a hard time seeing them giving New Artist to somebody from the bluegrass genre. But who knows? After several years of awarding one pop starlet after another, maybe it's time!

Could be she's got a better shot at the Best Bluegrass Album than the New Artist award. I'd like to see her win something - Good luck, Molly!

Gotta love Molly. Brave to remove her wig. (She has Alopecia areata totalis, a complete loss of body hair. Not the same thing that Jada Pickett Smith claims to suffer from.)

She didn't win New Artist, which is just as well. That award seems to be a career killer for many that get it. She won Best Bluegrass Album, which is by far the better award to receive.

Pretty cool, I'm happy for her. She deserves it!
