I’ve got a loose jack cup on my Gold Penguin unfortunately. The jack itself is fully seated and tight but it looks like the clip that holds the jack cup is loose so when I plug in a cable it definitely moves around and has some play in it.

would an electrosocket fit 1:1 in place of the jack cup? Or do you recommend getting one of those fancy tools to remove and install a new jack cup?

It's going to take the same amount of effort to replace it as to fix it, and replacing it will be more costly, and you'll have to wait for parts. Just bend the clip out where it needs to be and reinstall it. I'd opt for the cheap way myself.

I would always try to repair and re-install the original part before I would buy a replacement.
