I love pelican cases. Great and sturdy protection. Use several myself just not for my guitars.
Cleopatra seems partial to my 6120 case.
I love my Hiscox cases, damn near indestructible. I bought 2 for my custom build 1954-spec Tele and my 1962 SG Les Paul.
This one for my tele is from a little company in El Monte California. Teardrop violin shap with leopard liner.
Ovation Super Shallow case to protect the $ 175 Applause. The EG's I have were $ 25-140, so no cases for them yet. They already had their starter relic-ing when I bought them. So I'm no fun for this thread in that regard with a velvety plush hard case. I do have the Fender/Squire starter pack gig bag that I should probably upgrade though.
Of course the HS Taylor and Martin cases are bullet proof unless you are going for a flight case. But, my favorite electric guitar case is the Fender shaped case. My most unfavorite and I have 2 of them are the big rectangular Fender and G&L Electric guitar cases. I don’t like gigue bags. My Yamaha silent guitar came in one. It fell over and busted the headstock completely off. Fortunately my guitar tech was able to fix it and it plays perfect. Hard lesson learned.
Unfortunately I do not own this guitar case, but it is deffinitly my favorit. And the guitar ain't half bad either.
I have not seen that color on a falcon before very cool.
Always wanted a Coffin case...
Not sure if If would cradle my 6120 but definitely my favorite!!
Hi "bertotti" the green Falcon is a "Ken Yokoyama Falcon" signature model. I got the picture from the thread "almost forgotten signature models". Great color & the matching case makes it even better
I do own one of each of these cases (and, the associated guitar) however, these are not my photos, as my stuff is hard to get to at the moment (in the middle of a year long move..lol)
My EBMM case because it is rectangle. Seriously, the round case design is just so impractical and inferior in every way. You can't stack guitars. You can't stand the case up vertically without out being unstable.
I prefer the rectangle cases as well. I have them with my EBMM St. Vincents and most of my Fenders. I may be replacing some of the round cases I have with my Thorns and Gretsches with gig bags.
These Reunion Blues gig bags are my current favorites:
When the handle on the original case for my 83 Ibanez Artist AM205 finally broke I did some searching around and discovered that the AM205's body specs are virtually identical to the Gibson ES339. I used gun cleaning fluid to remove the logo and she sure looks nice now in her new Gibson 339 case.
Where did you find that case?
Nice. What brand?
I think it is a case they just sell with some Japanese market only models but I am not sure.
