Largely overlooked. I thought it might be interestingly and different to see everyone’s favorite case if you have one. And for any guitar, electric or acoustic.

No limit on why... be it because it’s road worn and sentimental, sticker covered, built well, plush interior, or cool covering.

Love the case my fender American professional tele came with. It’s hard plastic, you could hit it with a hammer. It has a large storage compartment. And it has feet molded into the bottom that line up with indentations on the top so the cases will stack without sliding.
Also I’d like to mention the case for my Tokai love rock. It’s a funny brown camo color with pink interior

    My Falcon case...

For no other reason aside from the fact that there’s a White Falcon in it.

As long as it's a good, solid, sturdy case, I'm fine. I don't spend much time ogling the innards of it. It's a utilitarian item, meant to protect the precious instrument inside. I'm not concerned with stenciled names on the outside.

Just don't forget the gold piping.

This one was half off, only $45 at the time, because when they were painting the logo on it, they oversprayed beyond their stencil, so you can see some faint traces of the logo paint where their paper edges were. Rookie mistake, but was a bargain for me. So, I just decided that I would cover up their poor logo paint job with stickers, and even though it has been many years, I still have a ways to go. I have a few new stickers I have not put on yet, just got a Wampler pedal with a sticker in the box that will go on there.

Those Fender cases are really nice, and I think they sell for $200 new. There was one offered here for $100, I debated buying it for an hour and that was too long, it had sold in that time.

I like the tweed exterior of my Fender AVRI 52 Telecaster case, but it’s a bit boxy and heavy and impractical for carrying around.

For me, nothing beats a Gibson Les Paul hardshell case. They’re light, compact, well built, fit like a glove, have fantastic plush interiors and the smell that says “looks like you picked the wrong week to quit sniffing guitar cases.

My favorite case ....well..... I haven't seen one yet . It would have a yellow interior / felt lining .

You see , years ago when I was into photography , all my camera bags had a black / dark interior . Then a company called KATA hit the market with new camera bags with a yellow interior . How convenient it became to see your ( mostly black ) equipment / accessories in the bottom of the bag . Imagine having a guitar case with a yellow interior . You could probably avoid some minor damage like scratches , dings and dents if you were to leave your picks , tuners , capo's and such in the base of the case . Here's an example ........

Logos cost extra money. An Ibanez version of a Tele case was only $40. No name tweed case from GC for an acoustic was $75. Cases for both of my Gretsches say Epi on the outside and cost me $40. Cover the logo you don't want with stickers or paint, make the case personal (so you can pick it out of a crowd at an open mike night)---as long as it protects your guitar from any potential issues. That's the main reason I won't use a bag. A $25 used beat up case saved my first guitar from bouncing around in C-130s for three years.

In the long run, it's your money, your choice. YMMV. I just don't have enough money to pay extra for labels.

Thanks for the extra opinion on the Fender case. That just bumped it on my list for a current soft case guitar I have. I’ve been going between that one and a traditional case.
