One of our foster kids had wanted an electric guitar for a long time, and we couldn't afford to buy one. One of my good friends, who had played the guitar for a long time, gave him his guitar. That was one of the most beautiful gestures our child could see. He was so grateful and excited. I have already found a teacher to practice with, and he is already getting better at it. We have been doing foster care for a year now through the agency https://fosterplus.org, and we are grateful that we can take care of these children who have been less fortunate in life.

Well played Doc! That is an awesome gesture, and I am sure it is much appreciated. I have been fortunate to have done this same thing for two young lads over the years. It feels good to pay it forward.

That's a great gesture, Jim! I recently donated a guitar to the local Milwaukee High School of the Arts. It's a wonderful school with great fine and performing arts programs. So I applaud your donation to a program for young people to develop their musical talents. As we know, music is one of the most therapeutic endeavors in life.
