G -G -G - Great!
Yes but do they have the little arrow? That's my favorite part.
I've seen them with the arrow and no G, with the G but no arrow, and plain. I think those look great on there- the G even looks like Gibson's G.
Besides looking too technical I cannot find a bad thing about this tuning system. I tried it myself, it worked quite nicely. Guitarists are traditionalists...
That'd be copyright infringement, wouldn't it?
Gotta have good knobs. I’ve always said so.
Looks great. I like the Gretsch metal knobs.
That said, someday, some guitar other than a Tele, will get some of these.
Oh, I can top that.
These are brand new, US made, Custom Shop Gold ''G'' Arrow Jewels, intentionally relic'd.
Broke my heart to do it, but they were just to darn shiny! Sacrilege at its finest.
I even relic'd the one from the set I didn't use.
On a sidebar note, for those of you that may not know, these premium knobs, have the correct size pot shaft recess hole for the larger diameter solid shaft pots. The Electromatic knobs have the smaller metric hole for split shaft pots, and have to be re-drilled if your using them on pots with solid shafts.
By the way, your LP looks Great! Gretsch/Gibson, potatoes/pototoes. A ''G'' by any other name, is still a ''G''.
I ended up going back to the originals but I did give it a try for awhile.
NO ONE IS TO STONE ANYONE UNTIL I BLOW THIS WHISTLE!!!
It actually looks quite fitting on that Paul, but yeah...don't do that.
Yep, in my mind, a sunburst 335 type guitar just looks right with black knobs
I put the black "speed knobs" on my '67 335 that I had.
I liked the look, but gold speed knobs would be my second choice.
Things are always a personal preference, so anything goes if it makes a smile.
My D'Angelico with TVJones DA-Trons had boring black knobs, I wanted maximum bling
.....so The Gretch gold arrow knobs with the red diamond was the ticket.... :
Still thinking about putting the B6 Gretsch Bigsby...but that just might be going a little too far??
....although it would look really good IMO....
2008 Mira. Knobs are perfect
Stunning guitar. A friend of mine has a D'Angelico. Great guitar. My vote is do the B6. Good stuff.
Sacrilege would be putting Gibson knobs on a Gretsch. The way I see it, you're just raising the stock in both brands.
Personally, I’d stick with the non-Gretsch Bigsby. The G knobs are cool, and if anyone challenges them, just explain that it stands for “Gee, it’s a D’Angelico”.
Gretschify. That. Gibson! They are idd the best knobs out there imo as well.
