I believe that banjo was replaced in 1946 or 47. Earl was born in 1924.

That's rare, I have heard that Juan has refused to sign anything that has to do with that incident on many occasions. I met him at an autograph show and he took a picture with me, but he would only sign balls, bats and pictures of himself.
I'm no Ansel Adams, but I did get a nice shot at Zabriskie Point. I can't wait to go back to the desert.
