Yeah, it’s a beefy neck! Not huge, but substantial. Slight “v”. Love it. I was gonna grab a vintage one, but in most cases you can’t try before you buy…….and then I’m going to use it live so that introduces the chopping up a vintage guitar for a pickup dilemma.
So, I went with this brand new one with the LR Baggs system already installed.
That's a dilemma for me now. I dont really even want to put a Strap button jack in it! Although the original plastic button falls out of the tapered hole anyway.....

Congratulations Tony. 100% agree on the Gibson acoustic sound. Thats a beauty. Well done.

I can get on board with that! Lovely guitar! And, I agree with your assesment of the Gibson sound....I sold all my Taylors last year and kept my J-45 'cause it sounded best.

Oh man... been wanting one of those for awhile! Congrats!

And yes- would love to hear a side-by-side with the Maton, the OTHER acoustic I really really want LOL

@TSims1 have you played one of the slope shoulder Martins? How does it compare? I am assuming the Martin is a Martin and the Gibson is a Gibson. I’ve played the CEO7 which was very similar in tone to my 000-18ge ‘37 but it had a natural break up you would hear as you played hard. Does the Gibson do something like that? That was the reason I don’t buy it too close to what I had and the hard playing tone had a bit of an edge to it. If the Bobby stay nice and clear it could be a contender and give me some gas!

Are you planning a video review? You always do such a good job of those.
