Its here in tucsonI checked GC to see where that guitar is and it didn't show up.
Searching on G5127 did show one guitar, a 2004, but it is the Peerless version that has the B70 Bigsby instead of the B60 my Samick came with.
I much prefer the Samick with the B60...and the price of that Peerless is $630.
Agree 100%. @jfassett Simply put, this is a great guitar and Gretsch's best deal over the years in my opinion. I have an '08 5126 and the DeArmond 2000 (not to be confused with the DA 2K pickups out at around the same time). I would definitely grab it at that price if it passes your tone and quality requirements.I would grab it if it might fit your needs or collection.
Probably a safe investment, it is likely you could sell it later for more than what you paid.
Every time there is a thread here discussing the G5125-5129 series (with Dynasonics) they get high praise.
