I currently have twice as many Gibsons as I do Gretschs. So there’s that.

Hopefully my last post doesn’t mean you have to move it back.

Me too but only because they 4 latches instead of 5 and none are on the back of the case. :)

Personally, I have no problem with Gibsons...

It's actually an SJ-200 Parlor model. Only 15" wide instead of 17". Works great for a shorter person like me(especially with a "barking" shoulder). It's not a full-sized 200 but it's really comfortable, and obviously easy on the eyes ;) Also has a Fishman pickup in it, great sounding pickup.

I have the big j200, but I’m 6’3”. Probably bought it more for its history (Elvis) and looks, but it does sound out of this world. Where as my j45 seems to play itself, I really have to work the j200.

That is a Beautiful Gibson !!
Love my Gibby's. I probably grab my LP more then any other I got .. Lately anyway. Maybe the Midtown ... and a Gretsch has to be close by,
Now I got to get out the J45, Lol

Beautiful! A Gibson J45 is still on the upcoming Christmas list(too soon?).
I’m on 3 Gibson electrics, and have no complaints.

They currently average about $500 and aside from the weight, they are great playing and sounding guitars. The "Velvet Brick" Bill Lawrence designed pickups have their own sound.

I've got a Special as well. I've only recently found out it's a 74 reissue.

If you get kicked out I will be right behind you...:D.
I love my Gretsch guitars but I'm not ashamed to admit that I like my Gibson guitars more. This is a cool forum and showing your Gibson guitars won't get you evicted.
Your Gibson acoustic is a beautiful guitar. I have a 1979 Hummingbird that I love and it sounds and records great. Along with my 1975 ES 335 and my 2018 SG Standard they make up 3 of the 5 favorite guitars in my arsenal...:). (The other 2 are my 1992 Carvin DC 127 and my 2013 Gretsch Country Gent).

I just play for my own enjoyment and my favorite guitar is the one in my hands(I’m talking my guitars of course. :) ). I do tend to play my Gibsons a lot more but when I pick up and play my Gretschs I’m reminded of how great they are and that special sound that’s lodged in my memory bank.
