    Man, what a great show
80% of what Jack Arnold says is a paraphrase or verbatim of something my own Father would say.
The Winnie Cooper music is brilliant in its simplicity and i dont do it justice, it should be finger picked.

    Sounds good to me.

Man, I loved that show. Even though it was set in the 60's it was popular when I was literally about the same age as Kevin (in real life). I really need to re-watch those. And, of course, I was in love with Winnie Cooper!!!!

    Bassically
Drop D and let that a the A string Drone!
D to Dsus 4th [that keith richards thing]
And hit the drone strings then an A (d string 7th fret, G string 6th fret Bstring 5th Fret)
Slide that down to G then F# on the D string and D on The B string
Tje descrndind thing on the low D is 5th 4th 2nd fret then slide up to the 7thfret while pedaling the D on the b string and open g string, when i slide up to 7th on the low D i hit high A in thr original video, but E and D on the be string are good too, i believe WG Snuffy Walden hits the E. you could probably drop the high E down to d for extra droney goodness.
I either helped you or confused the heck out of you. Let me know

Another good show on TV from that time period: Quantum Leap.

This is one of my favorite scenes, when Sam jumps back home to his family

"... John is going to write my favorite song ..."

I loved that show. I was the exact same age as the character (12 when it started) so it is not too creepy for me to say I have always had a crush on Winnie.

Danica is a highly skilled mathematician
And i think Josh Saviano who played Paul is also a lawyer.
Those kids all did pretty well after the show.
