Pretty groundbreaking multi-track geniousness going on here.

Those look like some kind of DeArmond style pickups in there too, yes?

By 1951, Les was building his own pickups. It would not surprise me if he took a Dyna frame and rebuilt it into a low-impedence pickup. He was funny like that.

So great. I just finally got a copy of Les Paul: In His Own Words. It was literally delivered in today's mail.

Les will always be my favorite. So brilliant not only his playing but his creativity. And we still use the things he created now

Love it. They had great chemistry. "The World is Waiting for The Sunrise" is one of my favorites.

Jeff Beck does "How High the Moon" with Imelda May singing on his Rock and Roll Party (Honoring Les Paul) DVD - and - he uses a Jet! (or was it a Les Paul:confused:?)

Edit - just checked - it was a Les Paul.
