Prayers for a quick and thorough recovery and peace upon you both.
You and she certainly have my prayers for for a successful surgery and recovery, as well as prayers for the doctor and staff that will attend her.
I'm thinking of you both. I hope to hear good news soon and until she makes a full recovery.
Wow, Gary, this is awful. I’d start by counting the blessings. It happened, that is unchangeable. However, they are saying the prognosis is good. The both of you will get through this and you will survive. One step at a time.
Best wishes for speedy recovery from me also
Sorry, Wabash/Gary. You both have my best wishes. I hope she recovers---soon. These are for the Mrs. :
Something similar happened to a family member years ago. Slipped and fell outside on the way to work. Face hit the the wheel. She shattered her shoulder and got a replacement. Luckily there was no virus at the time. I’m sure MaryKay knows you’re with her in spirit, prayer, and understands why you’re not physically next to her.
I’m sending a prayer to the both of you and for a speedy recovery.
Oh man, I just saw this thread. Yes of course prayers for an incredibly difficult time and peace for your heart through this. I'll ask the kids to pray too.
I hope all goes well for her.
Sorry to hear this Gary . Best wishes to you both
Hoping for the best
Wow, that's one of the worst things that can happen while walking up to your car :O I hope everything works out ok.
Should be, doctors only give positive prognoses when they are more than 100% sure it will be ok.
So sorry to hear this.. best wishes to you both.
Oh man, that's awful. She's in the right place though. Sending best wishes to you and your wife. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
I’m sorry to hear of your troubles.
How hard it must be to not be able to sit at her side.
I’ll be thinking of you.
Sending strong vibes to you both.
I'm very, very sorry to hear this. These must be tough times for you, not being able to be with her. But everyone, and especially you, who have just come out of pneumonia, must be extra careful. I suppose mobile phones are allowed in hospitals, so you will be able to be in touch that way. It's not the same, but it's better than nothing.
As you say, there's nothing we can physically do to help, but you and your wife are in our prayers, which I know helps, too. After such a blow, the collar won't matter at all, and if the prognosis has been good from the very beginning, that's something to be thankful for.
This is exactly what I meant.
Please keep us updated about your wife's recovery. I'll pray for it to be a quick one.
Oh my, so sorry to hear this. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your wife. Stay strong!
So very sorry for your Queen, Slim.
If I may, silver linings aren’t always initially evident.
MaryKay is so fortunate she wasn’t injured even more severely, is in the best of hands, has such a positive prognosis and as importantly as any, has such a fine man in her corner.
I’d wager this is going to be much tougher on you than her, Sir.
Prayed and you and yours will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
As an aside, the outpouring here is heart warming. Love conquers all.
