Arnold, I'm dying to hear what model number is listed on the paper label inside. Kindly let us know, thanks!

The inscription says GFTron, but these were installed by the previous owner

I dig it. I’ve never seen any others like it, maybe it was a prototype or something. How about some more photos and what is the body depth?

It is 75 mm deep and is quite heavy for a hollow body guitar

I've seen some nice maple grain in other Historic Series guitars, but this one's is exceptional.

not sure of the exact weight but it would be close to my Fender Telecaster

It looks even nicer out of the case. I’d say that’s a sweet score that you’ve made.

Yeah, that's a keeper. I love Cat's Eyes, I love orange, I love filtertrons, so what's not to like.

Any chance Gretsch can help you track down info about it if you contact them?

I agree it can’t be fake, to much work for very little market for a Historical Series Gretsch.

It looks to pretty to play, like it needs to be in a display case or hung on a wall.

She really is lovely! And for what it's worth, those GF pickups are very good sounding pickups and available at a great price. I own 2 sets of those and really enjoy them.

What a beautiful guitar! I am a fan of the Historic's. I have never seen this model and agree it is unlikely to be a fake.
