It has the custom shop penguin pickguard on it, those fridge pics were pre pickguard :)

the man-salmon 1950 hotpoint fridge was custom painted for the wife, but I may have influenced it w the tim armstrong man salmon electromagic machine.
Oh so it’s currently in this configuration pictured below with the white/silver pup rings? That’s definitely the killer look. The white rings “really tie the room together” with a straight line of bright accents running the length of the guitar. Bigsby, tune-O bridge, pup rings, silly bat inlays, etc.

the pickup rings are the standard silver. I did like the black ones but classic gretsch won out there. ps. those
arent bats really :). They are angry nocturnal flying tigers. ,,,Nick13 = Tiger Army

That good sir looks amazing! IMO you have the best looking EJ Nick 13 in existence. Now we just need a shot with the headstock included. Full length shot.

Oh if they were only “Flying Tigers” inlay:

First one in the wild. Pics are kinda lame, but it still looks better than the press pics to me.

I like it, it's a bit like that white Tri Five model that I thought was pretty cool too. Would look great with a B6C!

Would look great if dressed up pinstriped like this. Maybe some sort of brighter blue with black.

My pro jet came with a “fixed” Tunomatic bridge. Pulled it including the bushings and managed to fit a low profile bridge base from a German archtop(hiding the bushing holes) and had Wayne make me a Lowriding Compton.
Worked a treat, and might work for these Bigsby challenged creatures.

I’d be lying to say I wasn’t fighting GAS right now. My temptation has been for either white and gold Tri Five or white Rat Rod pinstriped from the shop that sold that one up above. Shop owner said it’s no issue having a fresh guitar done over by the same artist. But then I’ve got GAS for a 6118 in either Sahara and Copper or the 140th platinum and blue (#1 on the list). But the 140th is higher than I’d like to spend at the moment even though I can swing it. And either of those two Pro’s would be from a different shop to get the best price and be a plain Jane. That 140th 5420 could be pretty killer and fit the budget easily. Hmmmm…

And pray tell what is this shop that you speak of? Inquiring minds want to know.

This is the seller on Reverb I noticed two years ago. He uses a local artist and I’ve seen him sell at least 15-20 pinstriped Rat Rods. Although I did stop checking over the last year. He told me he’s got some photos to choose from if there’s one in particular you would like painted similar.

Years ago I looked into this and found that the pinstripe artist that was doing this was in Birmingham, Alabama. No way to know if the examples that Tallman is selling are from the same artist, but the style is dead on the same.

This was the artist:

I just gave a check on one of the most useful online shops in Italy that sells Gretsch and the new Electromatic Jets with 2 P90s are very, very sexy.... :) Not a great fan of the available colors now but that could change in the future.... and the fact they have a wraparound bridge is a game changer for me as a G Tailpiece lover.
I'll wait for the Black ones to arrive ;)
