I think this is the first Dead Hombres tune I've heard with a cheery sounding chorus. Not the subject, particularly, but...

Cool track Nige, you sound a bit like Lemmy here, never noticed that before. :)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Yes the chorus turned out pretty catchy on this one despite it being a very dark song..

My Mother passed away on May 18th from leukemia.
She was 86 & when diagnosed 2 years ago she was only given months to live.
Well that was 2 years ago. She was a fighter & lived pretty much a normal life.
What with this & Covid 19 going on I suppose I was inspired to write a dark one.

    Enough sadness though..
For the recording I used my 2005 White Falcon into my Mystery Brain through the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb on it’s 0.2 output setting DI’d into the interface.
Traci used her 1985 Rickenbacker 4003 bass DI’d from her GK bass head.

Nigel, your guitar work was very good! When you explain what you've been through recently, writing a dark song makes sense. I am sorry for your loss.

Sounds like a punk rock killaby. Seriously well done and your tones great. I agree on the Lemmy sound a bit too.

My condolences for your mom. May she always be with you and with piece of her in your heart.
