They don’t screw on. They’re held with glue or double sided tape. A bit of heat from a hair dryer(careful!) softens them up nicely.

Ah I see. That's a disaster waiting to happen!

LOL, just go slow. Keep the nut on, and pry it loose as far as you can lift the plastic. Unscrew the nut, and replace the washer, while holding on to the switch-tip.
Hold the guitar on it’s side so the switch doesn’t fall in. Good luck. :)

They look cool but I wish they didn't say rhythm and treble (only one doesnt). I don't like my guitar telling me which pickup to use (bridge I usually use for rhythm).o_O

You could rotate the ring 180 degrees? The ring doesn’t know how the switch is wired. :p
