Here's another attempt at a difficult one.
Pink Floyd from the 1970s :)

Vocals by Greg Somerville. Mike Dennis drums. Steve Perry keyboard. I play guitars, bass, some keyboard and recording production.

Guitar parts are all Gretsch Jet 6131 into a Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 amp mic'ed to a 1x12 closed cab with Celestion Creamback speaker. Only pedals used are TC Electronics Helix Phaser and a Flashback 2.

Come in here dear boy have a cigar, you're gonna go far :)

Difficult stuff. I hear some timing shaking. ( I do not mean to be offensive, friend.)

No offence taken - but what do you mean exactly by "timing shaking" :)

Nice work. When I played bass I worked on this tune. Never got far and did not deserve a cigar.

To my ear the instruments do not synchronize in timing perfectly. But that is just my personal feel.

I'm sure you're right and there's many small errors in timing.
I never use DAW auto sync devices.
And I'm with Rick Beato in thinking tiny timing and note errors give recordings a human character that doesn't sound like a computer :)

Can you ID the exact time of the worst examples for me please?
I may be able to fix them, or just leave em to add "character"

There are no "worst examples". On your high level of musicianship you won`t release music containing obvious mistakes. It was my impression that something is jolting a bit. E.g. right at the beginning at 00:14 to 00:21 when the guitar kicks in. It is more like one instrument is pushing the groove (I would say the guitar) while the drums are played more laid-back.
I guess it`s that kind of friction that gives me that feeling.

I feel a bit bad about having stated criticism. So simply forget about it.
I did not want to school anybody and I highly respect your fine work, waxhead.

    Hey no problem :D

I take it as a benefit if someone can pick up an issue in what I've done.
When you work on things for years (in my case 2 years on this song) you often get so close to it you miss little details and it needs a 3rd party like you to point it out.

    So thanks :)
I'll do a close inspection as it's probably an issue I can fix easy :)
