If you could design a Gretsch model that doesn't exist, what would it be?

I've argued for mine for years - a true hollow body Jet, basically a full scale 2 pickup Rambler (or a Gretsch version of the Guild Aristocrat.)

I sold this one to Phil years ago, wish I had it still!

I’d like to see a 2.75” deep double cut guitar. If Gibson could do it with their Barney Kessel model, then Gretsch could come up with something. Maybe a Supertron/Classic Plus combination. Bigsby. Trestle Bracing, etc.

I already did. '59 6119 Tennessean with a single bridge Dyna.
But since we're talking about designing a guitar from scratch the only thing I'd change is i'd give it humpblock inlays and take away the zero fret but can't complain really. This is pretty much my dream guitar.

PS...i'm sure everyone's getting bored of me posting pics of it...sorry!

Gretsch upright bass. Apparently Kay made Gretsch branded ones in the 1930s but I want Gretsch Jimbo Signature model!

I guess this is what would you get from the Custom Shop question haha... For me a Matte Black Neil Young-esque Stereo or Dual Mono (Ric Style) Falcon w nickel hardware, Dynasonics

I'm going to take advantage of the Gretsch and Fender relationship.

I would like a 25.5" scale length Duo Jet made out of chambered alder with a maple neck. For pickups it would have an HS Filtertron in the bridge, a Broadcaster Telecaster bridge pickup in the middle and a Fat '50s Stratocaster neck pickup with a 5 way switch. It should have a high quality ABR-1 bridge and a straight stop tailpiece. I'm going for the sound and playability of a Duo Jet and a Stratocaster hybrid.

I'm thinking these get less realistic as you go down the list.....

1) A lefty Electromatic (or Pro Line, for that matter..) Jet with a Bigsby. Just about anything lefty with a Bigsby would be appreciated. They used to offer more for the sinister folks.

2) A lefty Annie Jr....

3) A lefty CS/Stern Dr. Milktruck signature Country Club with the lavender colors like the one that the Dr. got rid of.

4) A lefty Playboy amp.
