    Love the DS 6120.

Maybe they'll do a Players Edition DS Club in Caddy green ...down the line ,if we're lucky.....Cause it doesn't look like they're going to do a 55 Vintage Select Club any time soon.

Mmmmmmm, I was/am not in the market for another Gretsch, but...That Players Edition Tennessee Rose with the simulated F holes is calling me.

I sold my last Rose to @Jelly Roll Horton and I still miss it. I have also had this illogical fascination with painted on F holes...

    I don’t need another guitar..I don’t need another guitar .....honestly....I don’t....really......Ok, maybe I do..

Electrotone bodies are hard to resist!

A player needs at least one. :)

Well, I had to Google “Electrotone”. Ed Ball, of course, clarified what Electrotone is in a older GT post. It is a Gretsch “technology”, characterized by a shallow body depth and a sealed top.

I took possession of the new Limited Edition Rosewood Tenny a couple of months ago not thinking I would dig fake f-holes but find that I quite like them.

    radd,

Like it used to be, like it should always have been, and these PU's are far superior to Hi-Lo Trons.

I've only ever cared for the faux ''F'' holes. Cut through's weaken the top of the body.

All they need to do now, is bring back the vintage double cut Nashville, and there will be a NGD in transit.

Not a fan of the adjustable bridges. Feels like a downgrade to me

My Gibson Lucille has fake unbound f-holes. They are painted black, but so is the body …. ;)

Love the 6120DS and just want one of the white anniversaries badly, am glad they have bought these out in traditional thicknesses too, nothing wrong with the 2.25' but you know.

Hmmm, my Gibson Lucille has a control cover on the back, similar to a Les Paul, since there are no f-holes for electronics access. I don't see any provisions for access on the Electrotone body ....

I really like the look of that 6120DS. Dig the color.
