I have what I believe is a Electromatic G5260T but there is no serial number on the back of the headstock. Is it possible to find the serial number somewhere else or can identify and date the guitar by any other means?
    Edit: It's not a barytone guitar so I think it's would be a G5230T and not a G5260T.

Welcome to the forum. Look in through the f-holes or use a small mirror to check the back of the top.
It would help if you could show us a photo of it. Good luck!

Regardless of which of the models mentioned above it is, it should have the Serial no. on the back of the headstock.

    Did you buy a b-stock?

Thank you all for your responses and a warm welcome!
I bought i used, at least ten years ago, the seller didn't mention b-stock but I guess it could be. The pickguard is not original as it was missing when I bought it. DSC_1076.JPG DSC_1074.JPG

    PH,

    First of all, welcome!

Looks like the same era as mine, early 2000's.

Mine originally came with a white pearl pick-guard, and a hard ''G'' tail-piece. I still have all the original parts.

Mine does have a SN and Made In China stamp on the back of the headstock.

When I did all the mods, there were no ID's of any kind in any of the front or back body cavities.

My professional model Jet has a Gretsch SN/Model # label inside the rear access panel, the Electromatic does not.

Wish I could help you further.

    Best,

    BIB.

Yours is actually an older 5235T, the first version of the Pro Jet model, which was made from 2003 to 2011. I don't know why it wouldn't have a serial number in the usual place though-- weird.

    Welcome :D
Looks legit, the serial number on jets can also be found inside the body, in one of the holes for the electronics afaik. Correct me if I'm wrong.
