Sure is beautiful and I love the case too . But for the money you'd think someone would have thought of a jack plate too . Hey @ZackyDog , is this an old posting / eBay bid ? I see at the bottom right of the photo , Copyright ( c) 2017

Yeah it looks old and obsolete, but I thought it was interesting and cool to see that there was an official Nez guitar, Cuz.

"Just the way it would have left the Gretsch factory in 1965"

So it's going to have binding rot and sloppy neck set, sorry, couldn't resist.

It's not an official Nez model though,it just shows pics of him without actually mentioning him by name.

Cool geet though, but a regular Pro Line model would be much better ,and affordable .

Here's a video of it ,although not the exact guitar in the above ad,see red felt around the muffler switch as opposed to black on the above guitar.but of course they call it a Country Gentleman 12 string,it has nothing to do with a Country Gent, which has thumb nail inlays and closed body fake f holes.

I can't disagree with affordable, but I would be very surprised if one of these isn't nicer than a Pro Line 12.

Oh i totally agree sir,a Custom Shop guitar has got to be tops.

But for me the Pro Line is nearer my budgetary constraints .

I own this guitar. It was built by the Gretsch Custom Shop and it based on the one-off guitar that Mike Nesmith used during the Monkees TV series and concerts in the late 1960's. I spent nearly a year doing research for the design to recreate it. I have resisted it for sale on Reverb.com but not in a hurry to sell this masterpiece.https://reverb.com/item/6591337-gre...-model-6076-12-string-electric-guitar-natural

It is not a g6122-12 Country Gentleman. It is a recreation of the Gretsch 6076 12 String that Mike Nesmith used during the Monkees TV series in the late 1960's. Stephen Stern built this guitar to my specifications at the end of 2017. It is sitting in the case unused. Here is a link to Reverb.com where it is listed for sale.https://reverb.com/item/6591337-gre...-model-6076-12-string-electric-guitar-natural

Yes, I realize that. Again, it----the G6076----does look like the blonde, 12 string Country Gentleman, in this video.

The fret markers remind me of a shredder guitar. Mutes on a 12 string . . . anyone tried that?

That video isn't that great. I bet they turned the Treble way down on the amp as it sounds very middy, dark and no clarity. There's no chime to the top end. They should use a JangleBox and a set of Pyramid Gold flatwounds(which are chimier than what's on there..). I'd put either a Tru-Arc or a Compton instead of the wood bridge. Either company would make you a bridge with 12 slots.
