That's the one that appeals to me too. I don't have the nuts to rob a bank, though!
Meh...Black Bezels and those big goofy F-holes don't do anything for me.
OK...that's too bad. We'll just tell Federal Express, return to sender.
Drooling over this picture, I just noticed that the label inside indicates that this is a G6659 model, and not a G6120 TG-Jr as they indicated on the page inserted in the strings in another picture. An interesting discrepancy.
That’s regular 6120/Falcon size F-holes. They look bigger with the photo lighting because they have dark binding inside.
Really? I dont like that then.....looks like those Doug Plugs stuck inside...blah!
Luckily for you they make a G5410... if you’re still tempted.
Yeah, I love the idea of a natural wood finish and dark binding, but the net effect is rather cartoonish.
So many beautiful guitars. Love that black reversed BillyBo featured in another thread here.
A few years back Music Zoo ran a very limited run of them. I had one but I found it more uncomfortable to play than the regular shape so I sold it. Here's a pic of my 2 Billy-Bos together:
I need a Junior Jet. That’s it.
Nothing for me there... but if others dig these designs, God bless. Regardless of the aesthetics, I'm sure they all play really great. Stern's team makes fantastic guitars!
I will own a Rat Rod eventually....but I am thinking wait till next year, when there are used ones with cases for a lot less...The fact that I sell and trade often, I usually don't buy new....
Nothing wrong with used... saves big $$$.
...and the fact that they are cool and different, there will probably be quite a few people buying them....which means...also selling them, eventually.
I still may eat my words and just buy one now...they are so darn cool
