Has anyone ever ordered any of these after market buttons? I’m wondering how the small round would look on a BS smoke.

Id be interested in knowing too. Do these fit all gotoh tuners? I like the looks of those pearl ones.

I bought some pearl ones, not Gotoh, for a Gretsch and did not put them on because they were very white and all the binding and other white elements on my guitar were more aged yellow. I think you will find that to be true for your Smoke because it has beautiful vintage colored binding.

I would get the chrome to have the vintage look

Small chrome, small black, large black, or gold pearl would all look good on a Smoke, I think. The gold pearl does have that vintage celluloid look. The small silver does match an original 1960 I looked at though.

I’ve ordered real ebony aftermarket buttons for Schaller tuners before and was happy with them, but I’ve never replaced Gotoh buttons.

Looks great. Are those "small" or the "large" sized ones?

Small. I think they would give the headstock a vintage look.

Agree with the small chrome, but only because small nickel isn't listed.

I like the way nickel looks new, and ages quickly for a nice old look.

Either way, the small does look just right size wise.

Yep, Grover Sta-tites look just right. String them correctly, no issues.

But it's the size of the button that looks right too, size wise.

The small ones might look a little weird from the back on those locking tuners - if you care.

Is that your double cut jet? Amazing photos and guitar by the way. how's the neck profile on that one? Been wary of jets because of the soft v shape profile they have, especially towards the headstock.
