Just got a gorgeous Brian Setzer Black Phoenix and want angig bag for it as the hard case is heavy as hell. I know some don‘t like this idea, but I carry also my vintage Gibsons in Mono Bags without problems. The Mono I have for my 335 won‘t fit… Anybody know wchich nice gig bag would fit? I saw a few Gretsch bags but not sure as the guitar is huge…Thanks!

Don’t focus on Gretsch branded bags. Look for reputable gig bag brands. Mono is expensive, look at Gator or Ritter for a bit less money. Don’t go cheap for a Black Phoenix unless you have good insurance.
A Jumbo acoustic has about a 44cm lower bout width(a Dreadnaught about 40 cm so too small)

looks sturdy…but unsure if the Phoenix would fit…did a bit of research and it‘s not that easy for sich a big guitar

I wouldn't go less than a Mono bag, have you contacted them to see if they have one to fit (Bass maybe?). And yeah, I'd be inclined to stick to the hardshell case.

He already has a Mono 335 gigbag that doesn’t fit.
The Black Phoenix’s body depth is 2.75”but doesn’t account for the Bridge/Bigsby.
If I would gig with a Phoenix I would not search for a gigbag but for a veritable heavy-duty 3-ply flightcase with sturdy alu-corners, friend.
