I want a Gibson SG in cherry. I started out just to get a simple SG Junior but you know how that goes. Info overload and muddy water.
I'm asking here because the snark of the younsters on Gibson forums can be useless info. And I'm sure a bunch of people here have Gibsons.
I have listed the ones I'm considering. Other than P-90 vs Hum or Burst and dot inlays vs trap there doesn't seem to be much difference in the actual guitar.
$1,299 - Gibson SG Standard Tribute - Vintage Cherry Satin
$1,399 - Gibson SG Junior Electric Guitar - Vintage Cherry (I'm assuming the bout is smaller, but scale is the same?)
$1,599 - Gibson SG Special - Vintage Cherry
$1,799 - Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar - Heritage Cherry
$1,999 - Gibson SG Standard '61 - Vintage Cherry
$2,399 - Gibson Tony Iommi SG Special - Vintage Cherry
Home use only
Any input is welcome...Thanks
