Guitar Fetish “Metal Foil” Single Coil Ferrite in Chrome. They are a drop in replacement for humbuckers.
Both pickups are measured at approx 5k
Brand new condition except the wire ends.
$65 with shipping in the USA for the set.
Or I’ll trade for something fun of equal value.

Kind of a loaded question, but what do those things sound like? I have some GFS Retrotron pups that I like a lot, but I have never tried a Gold Foil.

Those gold foils are an approximation of gold foils from the 60s and 70s - often on Japanese gits and some DeArmond-ish pups from the same era. Low output, with a pleasant, sweet-ish way about them. Sometimes prone to feeback. My first introduction with them was on an old Harmony Rocket (exquisite). Recently I purchased a modern reissue of the the Rocket which is an overall superior functioning instrument (stays in tune, intonation, action, etc) with PUPs that are fairly close to as good, but not quite, as the original. It's a taste thing. Some people LOVE "EM! Others, yawn and continue on their way.
