    From the raunchy solo of I Saw Her Standing There to the sizzle of Old Brown Shoe, George always played exactly what the song needed to take it to the next level. His signature slide sound which came to the fore after the breakup, was sublime and copied throughout the 70s by every other band in the top 40. A career of great guitar moments I'd say.
