My Charvel Surfcaster. A beautifully made guitar with great tone and playability.

The Surfcaster is a very nice Axe. I had one in the '90th, which i tradet, for a Charvel Pro Line (Stratstyle) with Floyd Rose, i still got that one.

From what little I know of them, you are best off getting the Charvel versions (especially earlier models) as they were made in Japan. Later when the Surfcaster became a Jackson brand, production shifted to India and that led to both quality problems and a significant reduction in the aesthetic values of the original Charvel (fit and finish wasn't as good, colors and woods weren't as nice, shark fin inlays were gone, etc.).
