Am going to be installing a USA spec Switchcraft toggle pickup selector in a 2016 Electromatic Pro Jet. Have a look at the pic below: Do I want to order the shallow / flat style nut on the left, or the deeper / recessed style nut on the right?

Also, which size dress washer: 11/16" outside diameter - 15/32" inside diameter?

    Thanks in advance!

You'll be sure that the flatter one fits, but I like the looks of the taller one.
It all depends on how much thread the switch has exposed.

I ordered both to be sure. The flat one fit in the end, but it was a tough job getting them on. I couldn’t get the recessed one on far enough for it to be in position (it just kept wiggling and turning in the hole).

Hmmm. Food for thought, though not as clear cut as I'd hoped.

Any other (2016 or later) Electromatic Pro Jet players want to weigh in?

I don’t have a new jet but just as a FYI...
As noted, depends on the length of the thread, and the thickness of the top.

The thread on the short Switchcraft is longer than the long one. Approx. 9 to 5 mm(sorry I’m a metric guy). It comes with a flat nut.

The long Switchcraft used on LPs and other carved top guitars, has a shorter thread, and since these switches were never intended for guitars comes with the deep dish nut.

Thanks for your reply. The USA / Imperial spec switch on the right in the photo below is replacing the gold metric switch on the left. The replacement is a "short" framed switch, correct?

    Correct!

Note: The deep dish looks nice n’all but if it ends up too high it will prevent you from flicking the switch to either side!

This may be helpful. It’s in inches. :)
