Would I be able to fit dynasonic pickups into my 12 string G5422G-12? Would I need to purchase any mounts to make it fit as it’s an electromatic body?

TVJ T-Armond pickups come in a filtertron sized casing.
I put them in my 5420 with much success.

I second using T-Armonds for the conversion. Trust me, it's easier and more adjustable (I've done both ways). Don't forget Gabajo makes Filtertron-sized Dynasonic/DeArmond pickups that are every bit as good as the T-As.

The alternative is to make conversion rings. You'll need at least .8 to 1.0 inches of bridge height, if not more, to platform the Dynasonics and have enough room to adjust string distance.

Did this with my Electromatic, since the Filtertron-TAs were not available in Germany or cost 50 more per PU.
Works fine for me, I can adjust them with the TVJ foam Dearmond shims. I matched the holes and dimensions of the brass adapters to the original rings. IMG_20200803_184111.jpg

I´m interested in the gabojos for quite a while now, can´t find soundclips anywhere.
How different are they to TA?

Or i´d also be interested how different they are from the de armonds that used to be on electromatics.
The de armonds in my 5125 are my only dynasonic style pickups but i´d like to put some in my jet at some point

That's a sweet looking 5420! Just noticed the toggle switch next to the Bigsby. Curious to know what it's for?

When I added a TV Jones tone-switch wiring harness I wanted to fill the extra knob hole with something so I got the harness with the kill switch. So when that switch near the bigsby is toggled left or right the guitar is “on”, and when it’s in the middle it’s silenced.
