3. Calloway I Wanna Be Rich 1990
4. Frijid Pink House of the Rising Sun 1970
5. The Chords Sh-Boom 1954
6. Bobby Bloom Montego Bay 1970
7. Charlie Dore Pilot of the Airwaves 1980
8. Giant I'll See You in My Dreams 1990
9. Candyman Knockin' Boots 1990
10. Ron Holden and the Thunderbirds Love You So 1960

What are some of your favorites?

Lies, by the KnickerBockers - a Beatles-sound-a-like from a New Jersey band. Go figure.

I Touch Myself, by the DiVinyls.

The Divinyls may have been one-hit-wonders in the USA, but they had a few hits and were a major band in Australia for quite a while, and Chrissie Amphlett is still incerdeibly well thought of out here.

My vote for the best and most prominent one-hit-wonders were Dexie's Midnight Runners and 'Come On Eileen.'
But The Knack really should have the title - My Sharona was a MONSTER.

Isn't it interesting to see some huge names that were one hit wonders elsewhere.

There's probably a whole thread on people you wish had stopped after one as well.

Some great mentions here but I think where the one hit wonder excels in cheesy. So to redress the balance a little....

Chesney Hawks, The One And Only
Rupert Holmes, Escape. I know 'Him' was released here but I wouldn't call it a hit.
Unit 4 Plus 2, Concrete And Clay
Fortunes, Storm In A Teacup
